Idea, like idea is very good and I like it very much.Some people are saying that dinosaurs were carying that stones because they were very hard and people could not bring it there and because that stones can not be find in that part of land.

From what I have read on the web, the chrysanthemum festivals started as harvest festivals in China, and were adopted by Japan. With the adoption of the western calender, they now occur later in the fall. I collect postcards of these dolls. What surpised me was to learn that it is not a case of applying flower blossoms to the life size “dolls” (mannequins would be more accurate), but the plants are alive and growing inside the mannequins, the blossoms covering most of the outside. When I was in Tokyo a few years ago, I got a kick out of going to a small temple that had 4 of the dolls, along with displays of chrysanthemum plants. I enjoyed reading your post. I agree it looks militaristic. A lot of the postcards I have represent samurai folktales. But I have one with superman flying in the sky. I don’t know Japanese. Regards,

Very true. However the people I would be trying to reach, Grandparents etc, would be willing to make an account and log it in if all they had to do was the register my RSS feed on their bookmark bar (which they have done right now actually). I’m really looking to target people who aren’t in Facebook etc.

Sounds like you’d need a little bit of customization no matter which platform you went with. I agree, FaceBook is trash. You would have to assume that the people that you actually cared about would be willing to deal with a separate site/login to continue to “follow” you.

Although you could always allow people to use their facebook credentials to log into your site, or at least OpenID.
