School has been a real mental drain as of late, so yesterday after class I just couldn’t not get out of Saitama and see something, anything other then the inside of my room. So I went with a friend into Tokyo, specifically Ginza.
We went to Ginza to check out what they’ve got in the Apple store; turns out yesterday Apple released a special red iPod Nano that Apple gives $10 of every purchase to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS in Africa so the place was pretty packed. The Red iPod looks pretty nice, I wouldn’t mind having one, but I’ve already got a 30gb regular iPod so there is no need. Well, no need other then to have it sent back to me in Japan; I forgot it in Dan’s a friend who remain anonymous’ car and said anonymous friend has yet to turn it over to my Mom so she can send it back to me here.
I also checked out the MacPro, the worlds sweetest computer as well as the massive 30-inch Display which the salesman was quick to inform me was reduced $500 to a new affordable price of just $2,000. How kind of them to consider us little guys on a budget right?

I’ve heard that their MP3 player is great hardware, but the software crashes and renders the whole thing unusable a majority of the time. Not cool.
Sony also had the PlayStation 3 on display. That was an impressive setup. Not the machine itself, but the 65″ HDTV display they had it on. The graphics didn’t look all that impressive to me, certainly not worth the expected price tag. However the game they were demoing,
