Korean Dramas
Never seen a Korean TV Drama? This video sums all of them up in just a hair over 3 minutes.
And that’s why I don’t watch the Dramas. As there are some good movies available, you can’t put the entire Korean media industry down yet, just the TV and Music sections.
Just incase you couldn’t believe the title of that ‘drama’, you need to look no further then the movie No Mercy For The Rude for confirmation of the insanity. Check out this plot description:
An assassin with a speech impediment who refuses to kill nice people has his life turned on its head when a woman tries to move in with him.
… WTF! It’s so messed up, I HAVE TO see it!

New Theme/Lightbox/Zooomr Update/Foto Friday
Once before, a long time ago, I tried a theme called Hemingway, and I liked it. However, not everyone else did. Although I have a good display and good eyes, not everyone else does, and many complained it was very hard to read the text. After being told so, it makes sense, shade of grey text on shades of grey backgrounds aren’t easy on the eyes.
But recently I found a great theme that is based on Hemingway by a Chinese designer Utom called 4u style and have been using it for a few days. I really like it, and I hope to stick with it for a while (although my ultimate goal is to design my own theme, once I get around to designing my site again), so let me know what you think.

“Death Note”
I’m not the stereotypical Anime fan who comes to Japan. In fact, I attribute my success (if you can call it that) in Japan to that very fact. Now I’m not trying to say I’ve never seen or enjoyed an animated movie/tv show, but generally speaking cartoons are for kids.
But that’s not the way people look at things in Japan. Certainly there are cartoons for kids, but there are also cartoons for adults and people of all ages, and amongst those cartoons for grown-up’s, I’ve found a few that interest me. Generally speaking though, the ones that I like could have worked as actual live action movies, and sometimes, they even do become live action movies.

A Lazy Saturday Afternoon
School has been a real mental drain as of late, so yesterday after class I just couldn’t not get out of Saitama and see something, anything other then the inside of my room. So I went with a friend into Tokyo, specifically Ginza.
We went to Ginza to check out what they’ve got in the Apple store; turns out yesterday Apple released a special red iPod Nano that Apple gives $10 of every purchase to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS in Africa so the place was pretty packed. The Red iPod looks pretty nice, I wouldn’t mind having one, but I’ve already got a 30gb regular iPod so there is no need. Well, no need other then to have it sent back to me in Japan; I forgot it in Dan’s a friend who remain anonymous’ car and said anonymous friend has yet to turn it over to my Mom so she can send it back to me here.
